To our valued customers and suppliers of Kimball Physics:

Our mission at Kimball Physics is to advance humankind by doing good physics.  We have been doing this for 50 years and we are continuing to do this during the coronavirus pandemic.

We are writing to inform you that the State of New Hampshire issued a Stay-at-Home Order, effective Friday, March 27, 2020 at midnight.  Kimball Physics is considered an essential business as a supplier for many companies engaged in the global response to this pandemic. We are planning to continue operations until we are mandated to close by either the government or health officials or if conditions change so that it is unsafe for our employees to continue working on-site.

That said, like so many other businesses, we are implementing components of our business continuity plan and adapting to the seriousness of the pandemic. This currently includes:

• changing our daily activities to include strict cleaning and sanitizing procedures, social distancing, and minimizing in-person meetings
• arranging for employees who can to work from home
• cancelling travel and on-site visits
• expanding employee communications
• asking employees who are not feeling well, regardless of the reason, to stay home
• supporting employees who need to stay-home, or who choose to, for their health, the health of their family, or to care for children and other family members

We believe these changes, supplemented with our tradition of commitment to our partners, employees, and community, will allow us to continue our critical role in the supply chain during this unsettling time. If you do have any questions or concerns, please contact us.
